From co-workers to co-founders

You’ve probably realized by now that it’s not just where you work that determines how much you’ll enjoy your job, but who you work with.

Every once in a while, you’re lucky enough to find the kind of co-worker who makes your job better. A person you instantly connect with, who becomes your go-to for support and advice. Someone you trust and genuinely enjoy being around (who makes you forget what it’s like to work with those other kinds of colleagues).

In other words, your work-spouse.

We’re Hannah and Jessica, co-workers turned work-wives turned co-CEOs. We first met while working at the same copywriting company, where we instantly clicked. Pretty soon we were officially “Work Wives,” and it wasn’t long after that we started seriously considering creating a company of our own.

We realized that a lot of people felt apprehensive about outsourcing their content to others, even when they also felt overwhelmed or confused by having to create it themselves. So, we combined this frustration with our own ideal workplace experience, and Work-Wife Writers was born: a copywriting company dedicated to forging a connection to our clients to give them the comfort and confidence they need to hand over their content creation. We get to know your business, then use our skills to create content that sounds more like you than you do.

So if you’re looking for a copywriter/content strategist you can trust with your business’s content, you’ve come to the right place. You probably didn’t know you were looking for a Work-Wife, but you just found one.

These are the Work-Wives you’ve been looking for

  • Hannah Abrams, CEO

Hannah Abrams is your project manager extraordinaire: juggler of calendars, keeper of Zoom rooms, and master of solving problems before they even happen. With nearly a decade of experience in business administration, Hannah’s top-notch organizational skills make planning out content a breeze.

  • Jessica Lancaster, CCO

Jessica Lancaster is your writing wizard: content strategist, word ace, and finder of that one phrase that's on the tip of your tongue. When it comes to marketing, she's worked in all sides of the business, from journalism and PR consulting to copywriting and social media management.

Gator, CEP

You’ll probably catch a glimpse of Gator, our CEP (Chief Executive Pup) in some of our meetings.

And yes, he is as cool as he looks.
